The fifth floor of a county-owned building just north of the courthouse is next on the list for renovations, following a go-ahead Monday morning, Jan. 13.
Lubbock County Commissioners approved a bid from the W.R. Construction for maintenance upgrades to that floor. At $841,379, the local company’s offer was the lowest of the six the county received.
The building is located at 916 Main St. and likely best known to the public as the former Bank of American building and for the vehicle-registration office it houses in its first floor.
