The Lubbock Rape Crisis Center (dba Voice of Hope) is looking for dedicated volunteer advocates.
The center is hosting an OAG-certified 40-hour training program from 5:30 to 9 p.m. today-Thursday, Jan. 14-16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, and 5:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 21-23.
Participants must attend all sessions. No make-up sessions will be available.
Volunteers must be at least 18, pass a criminal background check, complete an application and interview with a volunteer cordinator.
