Almost all schools in the Frenship Independent School District will add to existing security systems this morning, Jan. 20.
Michelle McCord, assistant superintendent of administrative services, said that not long after the bell rings at each campus, the doors to the front office will be locked. Visitors will have to ring a buzzer and talk to a secretary or office staff through an intercom.
The office staff can disengage the lock, allowing the visitor in at their discretion, McCord said.
