No structural damage reported in late afternoon fire in West Lubbock

A large grass fire was put out by the Lubbock Fire Department earlier this afternoon.

The blaze near the 8200 block of 19th Street burned about an acre, according to Battalion Chief Rob Keinast.

There was no structural damage, he said.
