City officials are beginning to see political campaign signs posted around Lubbock and some are creating potential driving hazards around the city.
In a message released Thursday, Jan. 23, the city issued a release reminding political campaigns about the rules on signs.
“Well, we are starting to see them pop up in the right of way,” said Stuart Walker, director of code administration for the city.
Signs are allowed on lots at a minimum of 10 feet from the property line, according to Walker.
