Petrol engineering receives $1.8 million
Texas Tech’s department of petroleum engineering has received a series of gifts totaling more than $1.8 million.
The gifts will go to name several areas in the new Petroleum Engineering Research Building.
The building will include the Steve Heitzman Conferecne Room, Harvey L. Ratliff Jr. Department Chair Suite, the Walter Exploration Conference Room and the David G. Wight Courtyard.
The 42,000-square-foot, $22.8 million building is scheduled to be completed on Feb. 14.
