Lubbock fire officials say an electrical malfunction started a fire early Tuesday morning, Jan. 28, in a garage of a home in southwest Lubbock, displacing two men.
Five Lubbock Fire Rescue units responded about 3:30 a.m. to a structure fire in the 4400 block of 47th Street, according to a LFR news release.
Fire crews arrived to heavy smoke conditions and a blaze in the garage and attic of the home. Crews had the fire under control about 4 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
