Rawls in top 10 at
Men’s West Texas
SAN ANGELO — Frenship golfer Hunter Rawls shot even-par 71 for the second day in a row Saturday, putting him in a tie for eighth place going into the final round of the men’s West Texas Amateur championship at San Angelo Country Club.
Rawls is one of five players at 142, six shots behind leader Logan Philley from Robert Lee.
Hunter Rawls’ father, Randy Rawls, a former Lubbock Country Club Par Buster champion, is tied for 23rd. He followed up a 75 on Friday with a 71 on Saturday.
