SHALLOWATER — A strong start and three players with 20-plus points helped push Shallowater to an 87-77 victory Tuesday over Estacado and the outright District 2-3A championship.
“Our kids showed a lot of character,” Shallowater coach Jay Lusk said. “(Estacado) started scoring and we held our composure. We never let them get close.”
