Come on, LP&L. Last month our bill was $182, compared to this month’s bill of $314. That’s right, $314 for two seniors, aged 74 and 71, living on a fixed income.
I wasn’t there for 12 days of the month, and my wife has been ill and stayed close to the bed. We just moved in three months ago, moving to Lubbock from Carlsbad, N.M., from a retirement center.
I thought you said the new system would be about a 10 to 15 percent rate hike? What happened?
