Lubbock Animal Services made a good attempt to capture and relocate a deer that wandered into Lubbock’s Depot District Tuesday afternoon. It was tranquilized and caught, but injuries suffered by the 1-year-old mule deer buck — which included a missing antler and a broken jaw — made euthanizing the deer the most humane option.
