Osaghae, Polk set for IAAF world meet
Former Texas Tech track and field standouts Omo Osaghae and Tori Polk are set to begin competition today at the IAAF world championships in Sopot, Poland.
Last month, Osaghae won his third U.S. indoor title in the last four years in the 60-meter hurdles. The former Monterey standout goes into the World Championships with the seventh-best time in the world this season.
Polk won the women’s long jump last month at the U.S. indoor. She has the seventh-best mark in the world this year.
