A 33-year-old Lubbock man is behind bars after a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper stopped him Saturday in Garza County and found more than $54,000 worth of drugs and a pistol in his vehicle.
Jamie Morgan Davila was booked Saturday into the Garza County Jail under charges of possession of a controlled substance, according to a DPS news release.
The trooper stopped Davila, who was driving a 2013 Toyota Camry, about 8 a.m. after he was observed driving more than 100 mph on U.S. 84 near Post.
