Lubbock attorney Forrest Bowers will be named a Texas Legal Legend by the State Bar of Texas at noon, Tuesday, April 1 at the Texas Tech Law School’s Lanier Auditorium.
Bowers, who served as a P-51 fighter pilot during World War II, was an assistant district attorney for Lubbock County before trying hundreds of jury trials and a few appellate cases.
He is a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American College of Trial Lawyers and is a former Chair of the Litigation Section of the state bar.
