A Lubbock aviation business will have to pony up about $10,000 to the Federal Communications Commission for using a radio frequency without permission from 2008 to 2009.
Lubbock Aero’s petition appealing a forfeiture order was denied Monday, March 31, by the commission.
The Lubbock business was issued a forfeiture order in January after the commission’s spectrum enforcement division found it was operating on frequency 123.300 MHz without authority, according to the order.
