Above-ground storm shelters on the back of a flat-bed truck caught the eye of Johney Enriquez last Saturday, March 29, as he and his family were traveling down Frankford Avenue.
They pulled into the parking lot at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, expecting to simply check out the storm shelters outside.
“I’m thinking about buying a storm shelter, so that brought me in,” Enriquez said. “It’s been on my mind.”
But they were drawn inside to look at the other exhibits of the Lubbock Preparedness Fair, which gave them food for thought.
