After nearby residents pleaded with the Lubbock City Council to deny a zone change request to accommodate a Love’s Travel Stop and Country Store near Interstate 27 and Regis Street, proponents of the change have now asked to postpone the decision.
Terry Holeman, director of development for Hugo Reed and Associates, emailed Councilman Victor Hernandez on behalf of Love’s earlier today, April 9, according to a statement Hernandez posted on his Facebook page.
The email stated:
