This year’s Avalanche-Journal All-South Plains 5A-4A basketball honorees were a model of consistent success.
The Plainview Lady Bulldogs were led by Coach of the Year Danny Wrenn and Player of the Year Karli Wheeler.
It was much the same on the boys side with Coach of the Year Jason Dear of Frenship and his star pupil, guard Marcos Schuster.
The Tigers ran away with the league crown in 2013-14 by four full games. Dear again pushed all the right buttons despite having to replace his top three scorers from a year ago.
