Freedom Workshop is hosting a Lubbock City Council candidate forum at 7 p.m. Monday in the St. John’s United Methodist Church at 1501 University Ave.
Larry Holland, a member of the group, said Freedom Workshop is a group that can be politically active. The group is working to host a nonpartisan candidate forum, he said.
Students from Frenship High School will be involved, with about half of the questions at the forum being asked directly by the students. The other half of the questions should come from the audience, but will be asked by a moderator.
