Melissa Sides, Melissa Parham and Macy Merritt recently received Girl Scouts Gold Awards for 2014.
Sides, daughter of Ross and Leah Sides of Lubbock, is a part of Troop 6141 and has been in Girl Scouts for 13 years.
For her Gold Award project, Sides arranged for groups of friends and family to put together salvation bracelet kits. The 2,000 kits were donated to the Global Training Network and put together by women in Third World countries who actively seek God. The GTN runs off of profit alone.
