Public Libraries hosting summer reading programs
The Lubbock public libraries are hosting reading programs during the summer for kids up to fifth grade, called “Fizz, Boom, Read!” and for grades sixth through 12, called “Spark a Reaction.”
The younger kids can pick up a reading log at any library location and get prizes for reading during the summer.
The older kids can pick up a game card at any library location. Each complete game card gets them entered into a prize drawing held throughout the summer.
