Texas Tech quarterback and pitching prospect Patrick Mahomes posted on Twitter late Friday that he plans to move to Lubbock on Saturday after he wasn’t chosen through 10 rounds of the Major League Baseball draft.
Mahomes wrote, “Well after an intriguing opportunity to play Major League Baseball … I will be moving to Lubbock tomorrow! #GunsUp.”
