Learn about domestic minor sex trafficking
A “Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking” workshop will be held from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Friday at the MCM Elegante Hotel, 801 Ave. Q.
There is a $20 fee to attend.
Topics will be identifying victims of domestic minor sex trafficking, another look at human trafficking, a survivor’s story and a panel discussion.
You will learn to define the scope of the problem, discuss the need for training in health care, identify health concerns and treatments needed for sex trafficking patients and more.
