Student wins $18k
at livestock show
Logan Smith of Lubbock won the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship for $18,000.
Smith, a member of 4-H, plants to attend Texas Tech.
Gallagher represents Elks at convention
Lubbock Elks Lodge president, Diana Gallagher, represented Lubbock Lodge No. 1348 at the Texas Elks State Convention in Addison.
The convention meets annually to allow all the Texas Elks to share their fundraising ideas and charity projects.
