The city of Lubbock is participating in the Supply Our Schools school supply drive through United Supermarkets. Officials placed a barrel inside the main entrance to city hall this week and are encouraging area residents to donate supplies.
“The city appreciates United Supermarkets and applauds their efforts to provide these donations to students who are in need and who might not otherwise start the school year with these school supplies,” Lubbock’s chief of staff Bob Goodwin said in a news release.
City Hall is located at 1625 13th Street.
