When I read about people complaining they are unable to get a voter ID, I cannot help but be angry!
My son, who is profoundly deaf from birth, lives in an assisted-living facility in Fort Worth. He is also paralyzed on his right side from a stroke. He still managaged to get to the Department of Public Safety by himself to get an ID so he could vote.
You can imagine he also has trouble making people understand him without an interpreter, which further handicaps communication.
