Eight custom miniature homes are up for raffle in the parking lot of the United Supermarket at 82nd Street and Frankford Avenue through Saturday.
David McVey, the administrative assistant for Court Appointed Special Advocates, said the eight tiny homes are diverse in character. Many could be used as playhouses, storage or dog houses.
The homes have been built by local builders in Lubbock and are being raffled off in an event called Casas for CASA. The proceeds will benefit CASA’s mission of assisting children who are in the foster system due to abuse or neglect.
