Clothing donations needed for students
Donations are needed for the back-to-school clothing giveaway at the Bridge of Lubbock, 1301 E. Redbud Ave. The donations help low income families in preparation for the new year.
Donations will be accepted Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

K-9 SplashFest is Aug. 18 at Clapp
The ninth annual K-9 SplashFest will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 18 at Clapp Pool, 46th Street and Avenue U.
