You’re seeing a lot of new bylines because we have a bunch of new reporters.
Let me introduce them in order of appearance.
■ Krista Pirtle joined our sports staff in late June, after graduating from Baylor University.
She’s from Olney, a few hours east of here.
Her main beat will be Texas Tech women’s basketball and she’ll be our second football reporter behind Don Williams, the dean of Texas Tech football reporters.
