Marie Hanza, executive director of Lubbock Habitat for Humanity, said it’s hard to imagine what 1,300 pieces of furniture actually looks like until you see it.
Interestingly enough, Hanza did get a chance to see it when she, along with the help of several Lubbock businesses, were getting things ready of Lubbock Habitat’s Summer Blowout Sale, which is going on now until Aug. 2.
The sale is at a warehouse at 3907 Ave. Q.
Hanza said they are selling 1,300 pieces of gently used furniture, ranging from dining, coffee and end tables to sofas and side chairs.
