The Lubbock Boys & Girls clubs is seeking volunteers to help 70 children from four of the club’s locations to go shopping for back-to-school clothes next week at Kohl’s.
The store, located at 98th and Indiana in Lubbock, is providing each child with $100.00 to shop for school clothes. The Lubbock Lions Club also is providing those children with backpacks stuffed with school supplies.
People interested in volunteering to shop with the children from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday can call 806-792-2880 to be matched with a child.
