SHALLOWATER — Heading into the finals, Jacqueline Horton wanted her Seminole Maidens to stay calm and stick to their routine.
They did. Seminole defeated Denver City to win the Shallowater volleyball tournament Saturday, 25-18, 25-17.
“We don’t do anything different we try to prepare every game the same way,” the Seminole coach said.
Susan Reimer set the tone with a kill early in Game 1 as the Maidens went up 6-0, before the Fillies retaliated with a kill from Karley David.
