A woman was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash Sunday morning in South Lubbock.
Police responded to a crash about 7:15 a.m. at 98th Street and Quaker Avenue after a motorcycle crashed when hitting a patch of water on the road.
The male driver was possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to the Lubbock police desk.
The female passenger suffered head trauma and was taken to University Medical Center for treatment for serious injuries.
