Most elected officials in Lubbock County are expecting pay increase of as much as $32,475 after the County Commissioners set the new salaries during a meeting Monday morning.
County Judge Tom Head will see the most significant bump, going from $77,450 a year to $109,925, according to information provided by Lubbock County. Commissioners’ salaries will jump from $57,600 to $75,185 with an additional $4,800 allowance added.
The pay raise is an attempt to match the salaries of the positions in comparable counties, said Commissioner Patti Jones.
