Officers responded to a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon near 87th Street in Lubbock.
Although the pedestrian’s name and age was not released, an officer at the Lubbock Police Department desk said it was a child.
The child was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
