Slaton teacher to serve another term
On Aug. 1, Suzanna Garcia McCall, a fourth-grade science teacher at Cathelene Thomas Elementary in Slaton ISD, began a second term as chair of the Curriculum and Instruction Committee of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association, a non-union professional association.
The association is for teachers, librarians, counselors and other classroom professionals, with 50,000 members across the state.
