Teams of walkers are currently being accepted to participate in the 2014 Lubbock Heart Walk on Saturday.
Participants will gather at Texas Tech’s Frazier Alumni Pavilion, near the southwest corner of Jones AT&T Stadium, at 9 a.m. to walk and raise awareness and funds for the American Heart Association.
The course is three miles.
Event activities include a health expo, entertainment, activities for kids and more.
Participation is free.
People who raise more than $100 before the event will be awarded an official 2014 Heart Walk T-shirt.
