Why can’t the president speak publicly about the Trayvon Martin tragedy? He spoke publicly about the theater and Sandy Hook tragedies and numerous others, openly and to the public.
There is such a double standard in this country. So many want the African Americans to be silent about the atrocities that have happened to our people. It seems they want us to just forget it and move on. Yet because of this very silence, it continues to happen over and over again.
