Blessing of animals to be held Saturday
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1706 Slide Road, will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with a blessing of the animals at 11 a.m. Saturday.
It will be held in the fenced, south play yard on the church grounds.
Presiding will be Pastor Jeffrey Vayda.
All interested persons and their pets may attend. Pets should be on a leash or in a pet carrier.
