Lubbock architect Ed Stiles recalls three directives were given by the Lubbock Independent School District board of trustees regarding the design of Lubbock High School’s new cafeteria.
The first was for the dining area to accommodate 800 students at a time. The second was for the building to be ready at the first of this school year. And the third was to make the new cafeteria addition look like the original Lubbock High School Building.
