LP&L and the City Council are now considering raising the commercial stormwater rate another $16.50. It is already $92.92 each month. This is supposedly for the water runoff.
The entire square footage of my property (lot, building, and driveway) is 7,050 square feet, and 80 percent of that is dirt.
How can that compute to more than $100 each month of storm water runoff — even if we ever happen to experience “normal” precipitation?
