Lubbock Community Theater will stage its first annual “Tumbleweed 10-Minute Play Festival” at the LCT Playhouse, 4230 Boston Ave. These are the rules:
* Winning plays will be chosen from six categories: Elementary (kindergarten through grade 5), Middle School (grades 6 through 8), High School (grades 9 through 12), College (undergraduate), Adult (ages 21 through 54), and Seniors (age 55 and older).
* Six 10-minute plays will be chosen as winners; winners will be staged Jan. 24-26 at LCT.
* There is no submission fee, and submission deadline is midnight Nov. 15.
