AUSTIN – With only a week left before the Nov. 4 election, state Rep. John Frullo and Texas House District 83 candidate Dustin Burrows – both Lubbock Republicans – remain far ahead in the critical money race.
Campaign contribution reports the Texas Ethics Commission posted Tuesday – the so-called 8-day reports because they are due a week before an election – show that between Sept. 26 and Oct. 25 Frullo raised $63,266. In all, combined with money left from previous fundraising periods, the two-term incumbent in House District 84 had $182,344 in his campaign account.
