Kelly Morman remembers standing up against the wall as an alarm blared through a Lubbock fire station. The firefighters were running past him so they could respond to a call.
Growing up, Morman spent his weekends with his uncle, Sach Morman, a local firefighter.
“I’ve been around this fire department since I was about five years old,” Morman said. “I knew by the time I was six years old that I wanted to be a fireman. ... It was my childhood dream.”
