TAHOKA — The Slaton Lady Tigerettes downed Tahoka 47-17 Thursday behind 16 points from Taliea Maxwell.
Slaton was able to find success in the first quarter, jumping out to a 12-5 lead after senior Kelli Pate hit back-to-back three pointers to start the game.
Tahoka’s Maci Dimak answered with a three of her own, but it was not enough to slow down Slaton’s offense.
