A former Lubbock police officer faces a prostitution charge following an undercover operation that spanned several days.
John Cason, who retired from the police department in 2011, is being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center facing a class B misdemeanor prostitution charge, according to a Lubbock Police Department news release. His bond is set at $10,000, according to court records.
Lubbock police conducted the prostitution sting Sept. 3 during which Cason solicited sexual services from an undercover police officer.
