Lubbock police say two men set their sights on a second victim after a failed Monday morning, Nov. 18, robbery attempt at a west Lubbock convenience store.
Police officers responded to a robbery call at the 7-Eleven store at 5208 34th St., according to a Lubbock Police Department news release.
Investigators believe two men — armed with handguns — entered the store, pointed their weapons at the clerk and demanded money from the register.
But the clerk wasn’t able to open the register.
