Tech slates annual Carol of Lights event
Texas Tech will host its 55th annual Carol of Lights ceremony at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, in Memorial Circle.
More than 25,000 red, white and orange lights will illuminate the campus at the end of the ceremony, which will feature appearances from the Masked Rider, Raider Red and the Tech choirs.
This year, nearly all of the lights have been replaced with LED bulbs, which is expected to reduce energy consumption by 87 percent.
