LCU men past ENMU
CLOVIS, N.M. — Senior guard Jeremy Ford hit a 3-point goal at the final buzzer, lifting Lubbock Christian University past Eastern New Mexico 72-69 Tuesday night in the second close game between the two teams in eight days.
Ford, a 5-foot-11 transfer from South Carolina Upstate, had given LCU a 69-65 lead by making two free throws with 28 seconds left.
ENMU’s Devone Davis made one of two free throws with 21 seconds to go, then the Greyhounds rebounded the missed second attempt and called timeout.
