CASA of the South Plains is one of this year’s agencies that will be helped by the community’s gifts to Goodfellows.
CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, has a mission of recruiting and training community volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children.
Essentially, the volunteer is someone called alongside to help in time of need, and to keep watch periodically to make sure the child is safe and cared for.
